Walk Along The Road Story
The Story of Walking Together – 志恆: In 2000, he was diagnosed with cancer and was grateful to be cured. However, 19 years later, he accidentally injured the leg that had been infected with cancer. The wound never healed and eventually had to be amputated, with his left leg removed! Zhiheng has been participating in the activities of the Walking Together for the Disabled Center. After the amputation, he was able to face the road ahead positively and encourage other fellow travelers to face life’s difficulties together.
The Story of Walking Together – Alex: Alex, a teenager, was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer, and his mother also passed away from lung cancer. With the help of volunteers from the Road Together Community Center, he, his father, and his brother regularly participated in the “Gathering Around the Fire” gatherings organized by the Road Together Community Center, sharing and supporting each other with fellow travelers!
The Story of Walking Together – 天賜與天賜媽: Little Tianci was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer and frequently visited the children’s hospital. He and his mother received a lot of support from volunteers at the Walking Together Disease Relief Center, who walked alongside them on their journey to fight cancer!
Walking Together Story – 花花: Sister Hua Hua was a terminal cancer patient. She participated in the “Gathering Around the Fire” gathering organized by the Walking Together Foundation for Disease Control and Prevention, where she received encouragement and felt faith, hope, and love, giving her the motivation to move forward. The Walking Together Foundation for Disease Control and Prevention also organized a life sharing session (farewell service) for Sister Hua Hua. Sister Hua Hua passed away peacefully in the Lord at the end of 2024, and the Walking Together Foundation for Disease Control and Prevention coordinated her passing ceremony to ensure its successful completion.
